Plateau Systems Ranked as One of Virginia's Fastest-Growing Companies in 2005 'Fantastic 50' for Third Consecutive Year

Plateau Ranked Number 12 Overall by Virginia Chamber of Commerce for 602 Percent Revenue Growth Over Four Years

Arlington, Va. • April 26, 2005 - Plateau Systems, a leading provider of software for developing, managing and optimizing organizational skills and talent, today announced that it was named one of Virginia's "Fantastic 50" for the third straight year. The Virginia Chamber of Commerce recognizes the state's 50 fastest-growing private companies. Linda Lazor, senior vice president, marketing, accepted the honor on behalf of Plateau at an April 28 banquet in Chantilly, Va., at the Westfields Marriot.

The 50 winning companies for 2005 were recognized for the contribution they make to the economy by creating new jobs and capital investment. The chamber ranked the winners in order of their revenue growth over a four-year period from 2000 to 2003. Plateau was the 12th company listed, with 602 percent growth over that period. Plateau has also posted 10 consecutive profitable quarters.

Nominations for the Fantastic 50 were sought statewide from local chambers, economic development organizations and through the sponsors' networks. Companies could also nominate themselves. To be eligible, companies were required to be privately held with headquarters in Virginia, and to show sales between $200,000 and $100 million. The professional services firm of Goodman and Company verified all award entries.
