Plateau Names Linda Lazor Senior Vice President of Marketing

PeopleSoft and HP Veteran Brings Extensive Experience to Growing Software Company

Arlington, Va. • December 16, 2004 - Plateau Systems, a leading provider of enterprise software that manages learning and knowledge readiness, today announced that it has hired Linda Lazor as senior vice president of marketing. Ms. Lazor will be responsible for all corporate and product marketing activities including strategy, communications, advertising and events.

Ms. Lazor comes to Plateau from PeopleSoft, where she held the position of vice president, global product marketing. In this role, she drove the product marketing merger integration with J.D. Edwards following that company's acquisition by PeopleSoft. Ms. Lazor also significantly expanded PeopleSoft's international product marketing organization, recruiting and managing key talent throughout the world.

Prior to her product marketing role, Ms. Lazor was vice president, corporate positioning at PeopleSoft. In this role, she crafted corporate and product messaging with an emphasis on client value and competitive differentiation.

Before moving to PeopleSoft, Ms. Lazor held a variety of management positions at Hewlett Packard in strategy, business operations, product marketing and product management. Most recently, she led strategy and business operations for the HP Solutions Organization and HP E-Services.Solutions new Internet market development organization.

Ms. Lazor earned a bachelor's of science in electrical engineering from Purdue University, and a master's in business administration from Stanford University.
