Awards were presented to Plateau and the other fastest-growing companies in Virginia on Sept. 25, 2003, during a ceremony at the Spy Museum in Washington, D.C.
The Fast 50 companies were honored for the contribution they make to the region's economy by creating new jobs and capital investment. Deloitte and Touche, one of the nation's leading professional services firms, selected the winners by percentage of revenue growth from 1998 to 2002. Plateau's revenues increased 953 percent in that time period. In addition to this rapid growth, Plateau will post a net profit of several million dollars this fiscal year.
