Winners of the Codie Awards, sponsored by the Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA), will be announced April 15, 2002 during the SIIA Annual Conference in San Diego.
In their 17th year, the SIIA Codie Awards honor the best in product development and excellence in the software and information technology industry. The award showcases software, digital content and online services that have transformed computing and the use of the Internet at home, work and school. Approximately 500 companies submitted over 700 nominations for the 2002 Codie Awards, representing a broad cross-section of the industry. In addition to Plateau Systems, finalists in different categories include Sun Microsystems, Borland, LexisNexis, Adobe, Red Hat, AT&T and Centra Software.
A broad panel of judges from the software and information industry trade press selected Plateau from a field of more than 50 competitors in the two categories in which it was named a finalist. More than 700 SIIA members will select winners from the 3 to 5 finalists named in every software category.
