Description:

Plateau is seeking a QC Automation Engineer who is capable of developing standards and procedures for GUI-based applications.

Job Duties include:

Execute, manage and implement java-based automated test scripts, and provide developers with test results and track bugs via PVCS tracker system
Enforce QC policy/practices
Design, develop and maintain java-based automated test Scripts
Maintain the automated test execution environment
Write, review, and update Automation test plans
Document product issues in tracking system
Work with Development Engineers to identify and correct defects
Review product documentation
Installs and configures test environments
Product packaging
Assist the Customer Support group with release of the software
Assume other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science in Computer Sciences or equivalent is required
1 year of overall software development experience, at least 6 months of which is in java
Excellent working knowledge of scripting, Java, J2EE, C++, and relational databases
Working knowledge of application servers like Tomcat, JBoss, WebLogic or WebSphere
In depth knowledge of various testing methodology is a plus
In depth experience in producing testing documents and a knowledge of testing methodology
Knowledge of LMS/LCMS and Data warehousing is a plus
Knowledge of Load Runner and Performance testing is a plus
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work with minimal directions and effectively as a team member
